SEVENTH DAY
ADVENTISTS

This study will be on the 7th Day
Adventist. This cult began in the early 19th century by William Miller
(1782-1849), who was a FALSE PROPHET! He predicted that the Lord Jesus Christ
would return to Earth in glory on Mar. 21, 1844, and later on Oct. 22, 1844!
Neither prophecy was fulfilled!
Deuteronomy 18:20-22 "But the PROPHET, which shall
presume to speak A WORD in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak,
or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
And if thou say in thine heart, How shall WE KNOW the word which the LORD HATH
NOT SPOKEN? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if THE THING follow
not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD HATH NOT SPOKEN, but
the prophet hath spoken it PRESUMPTUOUSLY: thou shalt not be afraid of him."
The FALSE PROPHET is identified by
speaking "A WORD" that does not come to pass. It does not matter how
many times he's correct, it's how many times he's WRONG! Just ONE error is sufficient
to make one a false prophet, regardless of whether he was correct 3000 times.
When prophesying, the prophet is to bat nothing short of a 1.000. In other words,
his prophesying MUST be accurate EVERY time--not 99.9% of the time. Therefore,
William Miller was undoubtedly a FALSE PROPHET!
Isaiah 8:20 "To the LAW and
to the TESTIMONY: if they SPEAK NOT according to THIS WORD, it is because there
is NO LIGHT in them."
Romans 3:4 "God forbid: yea,
LET GOD BE TRUE, BUT EVERY MAN A LIAR"
If a man's testimony is not spoken
according to the word of God, he has NO LIGHT in him, regardless of how sincere
he presents it. The word of God is the FINAL AUTHORITY in all matters of faith
and practice! Words uttered contrary to the words of the KING JAMES 1611 AUTHORIZED
VERSION (AV 1611) is coming from pit of HELL. And don't you forget that!
Therefore, the cult was instituted
by a Bible rejecting HERETIC! Furthermore, he was a LIAR because he spoke presumptuously
concerning the second advent of the Lord Jesus Christ. One can't help but think
of the Jehovah's Witnesses (JWs) who stated in The Battle of Armageddon, Studies
in the Scriptures, Series IV, 1897, p. 621, "But we ARE in the end of this
Gospel age, and the KINGDOM is being established or set up. Our Lord, the appointed
KING, IS NOW PRESENT, since October 1874, A. D., according to the testimony
of the prophets..."
Imagine the audacity of these two
jackasses (Job 11; Ex 13)--Charles T. Russell and William Miller! Anyone who
would follow the teaching of a false prophet is a FOOL. And we say that CHARITABLY!
Ellen
White (a health reformist who later propagated the movement) wrote a book
called, "Questions On Doctrines," which she claimed to receive by
direct revelation from HEAVEN! Today many Adventists believe her writings to
be in harmony with the Holy Bible. As other cults (JWs, Catholics and Mormons,
ect.), the doctrines of this cult have changed considerably in the last 50 fifty
years due to its confrontations with Bible believing Baptists, who knew a LIAR
when they saw one. Nevertheless, the primary doctrines of this cult are as follows:
- Soul sleep
- Annihilation in Hell, which is
the GRAVE
- Salvation can be LOST
- The body and the soul are the
SAME
- The Sabbath is to be observed
by Christians
- The Law of Moses was abolished,
but the Law of God (or Moral Law) was not
- Those who do not keep the Sabbath
have the MARK OF THE BEAST
- Strict dietary LAWS: NO meat,
coffee, narcotics, stimulants and tea allowed
Now we shall briefly examine these
so-called Biblical doctrines in the LIGHT of the AV 1611. And the further we
go, the funnier it will get. Shall we? Let's!
SOUL SLEEP
This is the teaching that man is
not a trichotomy, but rather consists of actually TWO PARTS--SOUL AND SPIRIT!
This is nonsense. The scriptures make it clear that a man consists of THREE
PARTS--BODY, SOUL AND SPIRIT! The words do not mean the same in Greek, Hebrew
nor ENGLISH. They are not synonymous!
1 Thessalonians 5:23 "And
the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole SPIRIT
and SOUL and BODY be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."
This is clear to anyone who can read
6th grade English. The very idea of saying that a man only has a body and spirit,
when the Bible says that "God made man in his OWN IMAGE." According
to 1 John 5:7, God is a trichotomy. Thus, Adam was made having a body, soul
and spirit!
Genesis 2:7 "And the LORD
God formed man of the DUST (BODY) of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils
the BREATH of life (SPIRIT); and man became a living SOUL."
Hebrews 4:12 "For the word
of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing
even to the DIVIDING asunder of SOUL and SPIRIT, and of the JOINTS AND MARROW
(body), and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
In 1611, you were told that a SOUL
(after the body is buried) can sit on a throne, pray, see, talk, thirst, feel
pain and be TORMENTED!
Revelation 6:9-11 "And when
he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the SOULS of them that were
SLAIN (in the body) for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
And they CRIED with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost
thou not judge and AVENGE OUR BLOOD on them that dwell on the EARTH? And white
ROBES were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they
should rest yet for a little season, until their FELLOWSERVANTS also and their
brethren, that should be KILLED AS THEY WERE, should be fulfilled."
Revelation 20:4 "And I saw
THRONES, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw
the SOULS of them that were BEHEADED for the witness of Jesus, and for the word
of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had
received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and
reigned with Christ a thousand years."
Clearly, the SOULS of these Tribulation
saints were TALKING, after their heads were DECAPITATED (by the Antichrist)
on the altar! You know that there is no way possible for a fleshly man to talk
without a HEAD. You say, "It's figurative and symbolic." Shut your
mouth! It's nothing of the kind, especially in the light of Luke 16.
Luke 16:22-30 "And it came
to pass, that the BEGGAR DIED (physically), and was carried by the angels into
ABRAHAM'S (a dead man) bosom: the RICH MAN ALSO DIED (physically), and was BURIED
(physically in the grave); And in HELL (not the grave) he lift up his EYES,
being in TORMENTS, and SEETH ABRAHAM afar off, and LAZARUS in his bosom. And
he CRIED and said, Father Abraham, have MERCY on me, and send Lazarus, that
he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and COOL MY TONGUE; for I am TORMENTED
IN THIS FLAME. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy LIFETIME (in
the flesh) receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but
now he is COMFORTED, and thou art TORMENTED. And beside all this, between us
and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence
to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then
he said, I PRAY thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's
house: For I have FIVE BRETHREN; that he may testify unto them, lest they also
COME INTO THIS PLACE OF TORMENT. Abraham saith unto him, They have MOSES and
the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one
went unto them FROM THE DEAD, they will repent."
The rich man and the beggar died
PHYSICALLY and were both buried PHYSICALLY. Yet, they can see each other in
the UNDERWORLD. Nobody sees anything in the graveyard (Ecc 9:5-6)! The rich
man was in torment in the flames of HELL. His desire was for his five brethren
to repent before they DIED. He was talking to ABRAHAM, a man who's BODY was
consumed by MAGGOTS hundreds of years before.
People who repudiate a literal, burning
Hell (other illiterate folks like the Adventists), consider this passage to
be a PARABLE (Eze 20:47-49). It is not a parable! Each time the Lord speaks
a parable, it is preceded by "he spake this parable unto them" or
something to that effect. THE HOLY SPIRIT DID NOT SAY THAT THIS PASSAGE WAS
A PARABLE! The word parable occurs in Luke 15:3 (47 verses before this passage)
and Luke 18:1 (2 chapters after it). Jesus Christ never NAMES anybody in his
parables. Here, Abraham and Lazarus are named! If you insist on the passage
as being a parable--you apparently CANNOT READ. Tell whoever taught you that
to soak his head! THE WORD PARABLE DOESN'T OCCUR IN THE ENTIRE CHAPTER!
Following the consumption of the
forbidden fruit, Adam LOST God's image. In Gen 5:3, we are told that he "begat
a son in his OWN likeness, after HIS IMAGE"--not God's image! Adam's spirit
died. God said in Gen 2:18, "in THE DAY that thou eatest thereof, thou
shalt surely die." This apparently had no reference to Adam's PHYSICAL
death on THAT DAY because he lived to be 930 years old. The Adventist's demoniac
teaching comes from their perversion of Ezekiel 18:4.
Ezekiel 18:4 "Behold, all
SOULS are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine:
the soul that SINNETH, it shall DIE."
In the Old Testament (OT) a man's
SOUL DIED because his soul was stuck to his FLESH. Under the New Testament (Mt
26:28, 27:50, Heb 9:16-22), a man's soul is circumcised (cut) from his flesh
by an "OPERATION" of God "made without hands" once that
man's FAITH was placed in the Lord Jesus Christ (Col 2, Rom 10). Thus the believer
has TWO NATURES (Rom 7). The Christian is trapped in a body of DEAD FLESH (Rom
6:2-11, Gal 2:20, Rom 7:24-25) until THE RAPTURE. This is why we read in Lev
19 about a man's soul TOUCHING solid objects. When Paul speaks of an unsaved
man being in BONDAGE to the flesh, this is what he's making a reference to.
He speaks about false brethren (like 7th Day Adventists) who "spy out the
LIBERTY which we (BACs) have in Christ" (Gal 2:4) in an attempt to bring
us back into that bondage (the LAW). This is accomplished by fooling the unstudious
(2Tim 2:15) Christian into submitting to the "FAITH AND WORKS" system,
which was "abolished" on Calvary in 33 AD by the Lord Jesus Christ
(Mt 26:28, 2Cor 3:13-17)! ONE DOWN AND SEVEN TO GO.
ANNIHILATION IN HELL
This is the teaching that there's
no suffering nor torment in Hell (which according to them is the GRAVE), because
the body is annihilated or completed destroyed. This is nonsense. There is no
such thing as annihilation. The laws of physics which are permanent state otherwise.
The first law of thermodynamics states that energy can neither be CREATED nor
DESTROYED; it only changes to a different form--yet it still exists. In other
words there's no such thing as NOTHING! Therefore, the term annihilation is
not a real word. If you were to drop a glass on a concrete floor, would you
have annihilated it? Of course not! It's still there as a BROKEN GLASS! Any
fool could figure that thing out.
Revelation 19:20 "And the
beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before
him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and
them that worshipped his image. These both were CAST ALIVE into a lake of fire
BURNING with brimstone."
Revelation 14:10-11 "The
same shall drink of the wine of the WRATH OF GOD, which is poured out without
mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be TORMENTED WITH FIRE
AND BRIMSTONE in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the
Lamb: And the smoke of their TORMENT ascendeth up FOR EVER AND EVER: and they
have NO REST day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever
receiveth the mark of his name."
Revelation 20:10 "And the
devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where
the BEAST and the FALSE PROPHET ARE, and shall be TORMENTED day and night FOR
EVER AND EVER."
These heretics say that the words
"for ever and ever" don't really mean "FOR EVER AND EVER,"
but rather--until the occupants are BURNT UP--the miss application of Malachi
4:1! Then this would mean that they are only tormented TEMPORARILY. Which would
also mean that the SAINTS would only dwell with Jesus Christ temporarily--not
forever and ever as the BOOK says! Obviously, these people cannot read! Notice
that the beast and the false prophet are STILL BURNING in the lake of fire after
1000 years! These two members of the SATANIC trinity were both "cast alive
into a lake of fire burning with brimstone" BEFORE THE 1000 YEAR MILLENNIAL
REIGN. If a body can't burn up in 1000 years--it's NEVER going to be burned
up! Nobody is annihilated in Hell!
Revelation 22:3-5 "And there
shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the LAMB shall be in it;
and HIS SERVANTS shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name
shall be in their FOREHEADS. And there shall be no night there; and THEY (His
servants) need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth
THEM (His servants) light: and THEY (His servants) shall REIGN FOR EVER AND
EVER."
Matthew 25:46 "And THESE
(the unsaved) shall go away into EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT: but the righteous into
life ETERNAL."
As you can see there's nothing TEMPORARY
about either location. In both of them the occupants are there "for ever
and ever." For those of you who place more trust in the Greek than in the
living words of the living God written in 5th grade ENGLISH, the Greek for the
words "for ever and ever" MATCHES the same concerning the existence
GOD in Rev 4:9! An unsaved man will burn in Hell as long as God lives (Rev 20:10)!
Daniel 12:2 "And many of
them that sleep in the DUST (the body) of the earth shall AWAKE (the both resurrections),
some to EVERLASTING LIFE, and some to SHAME and EVERLASTING CONTEMPT (dishonor
or disgrace)."
How shall the wicked be PUNISHED
forever if they're annihilated?! Furthermore, how shall the wicked experience
everlasting SHAME and CONTEMPT if they're annihilated?! There's no way possible!
Thus, the teaching that the lost are annihilated in Hell is LUDICROUS! Again,
annihilation is not even a scientific law. The first law of thermodynamics states
that matter can neither be created nor DESTROYED! Matter is changed into another
form but it is still there! Those who die in their sins will be punished in
"EVERLASTING FIRE" as long as GOD LIVES! So if you're one of them
prepare for it!
Matthew 5:29 "And if thy
right eye offend thee, PLUCK IT OUT, and cast it from thee: for it is PROFITABLE
for thee that ONE of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body
should be cast into HELL."
Why would the Lord Jesus Christ say
that it is BETTER (Mk 9:47) to AMPUTATE offensive body parts to AVOID THE HELL?
Because Hell is not the GRAVE, Son! You go to the grave rather you lose an eyeball
or not! What a silly thing to say if HELL is the GRAVE! Do you think that Jesus
Christ was stupid or what!?
Matthew 5:22 "But I say unto
you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger
of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger
of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of HELL
FIRE."
Matthew 25:41 "Then shall
he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into EVERLASTING
FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels."
Clearly, Hell is a place burning
with FIRE and BRIMSTONE! My friend, there is no fire in the GRAVE! You know
it and I know it. TWO DOWN AND SIX TO GO!
SALVATION CAN BE LOST
Since the subject has been covered
thoroughly in my pamphlet Eternal Security, I will only speak briefly on it
here.
Eph 2:8-9 "For by GRACE are
ye SAVED through FAITH; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: NOT
OF WORKS, lest any man should boast."
Titus 3:5-7 "NOT BY WORKS
of righteousness which WE have done, but according to his MERCY (grace) he SAVED
US, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he
shed upon us abundantly through JESUS CHRIST our Saviour; That being JUSTIFIED
BY HIS GRACE, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."
Rom 3:27-28 "Where is boasting
then? It is EXCLUDED. By what law? of WORKS? NAY: but by the LAW OF FAITH. Therefore,
we CONCLUDE that a man is JUSTIFIED BY FAITH WITHOUT THE DEEDS OF THE LAW."
Rom 4:5-6 "But to him that
WORKETH NOT, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, HIS FAITH is
counted for RIGHTEOUSNESS. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of
the man, unto whom God IMPUTETH RIGHTEOUSNESS WITHOUT WORKS."
Gal 2:16 "Knowing that a
man IS NOT justified by the WORKS of the law, but by the FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST,
even we have BELIEVED in Jesus Christ, that we might be JUSTIFIED by the FAITH
of Christ, and NOT BY THE WORKS of the law: for by the works of the law shall
NO FLESH BE JUSTIFIED."
Gal 3:6-8 "Even as Abraham
BELIEVED God, and it was accounted unto him for RIGHTEOUSNESS. Know ye therefore
that they which are of FAITH, the same are the children of Abraham. And the
scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen by FAITH, preached
before the GOSPEL unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed."
John 6:27-28 "They said unto
him, What shall we do, that we may work the WORKS (plural) of God? Jesus answered
and said unto them, This is the WORK (singular) of God, that ye BELIEVE on him
whom he hath sent."
Apparently, nobody who ever got SAVED
was saved by WORKS. That's very clear in the passages above. A man is saved
by FAITH in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ--NOT HIS OWN! Furthermore,
we read nowhere in the New Testament (N. T.) about a born again Christian (BAC)
LOSING his salvation. We read about him losing his health and in some cases
his life for unconfessed SINS (1 Cor 11:30-32), but never his salvation! In
fact, God has promised to keep the BAC saved!
1 Corinthians 1:7-8 "So that
ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall also CONFIRM you unto the END, that ye may be BLAMELESS in the day
of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Ephesians 4:30 "And grieve
not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are SEALED unto the day of REDEMPTION."
Philippians 1:6 "Being CONFIDENT
(unlike the Adventists) of this very thing, that HE (God) which hath begun a
good work in you will PERFORM IT until the day of Jesus Christ"
1 Peter 1:3-5 "Blessed be
the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant
MERCY hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus
Christ from the dead, To an inheritance INCORRUPTIBLE, and UNDEFILED, and that
FADETH NOT AWAY, RESERVED in heaven for you, Who are KEPT by the POWER OF GOD
THROUGH FAITH UNTO SALVATION ready to be revealed in the last time."
Every Christian is KEPT SAVED by
the "POWER OF GOD," not his own works. God the Father does the works.
Those who claim that their ETERNAL LIFE can be lost are actually implying that
God is to WEAK to keep him saved--LIKE HE PROMISED TO!
Philippians 2:13 "For it
is GOD WHICH WORKETH in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure."
The Lord Jesus Christ promised the
BAC that his name would NEVER be blotted out of the book of life.
1 John 5:4 "For whatsoever
is born of God OVERCOMETH the world: and this is the VICTORY that overcometh
the world, even our FAITH (not works)."
Revelation 3:5 "He that OVERCOMETH
(the BAC), the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I WILL NOT BLOT OUT
HIS NAME OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE, but I will confess his name before my Father,
and before his angels."
Revelation 2:11 "He that
hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the CHURCHES; He that OVERCOMETH
SHALL NOT BE HURT OF THE SECOND DEATH (Hell)."
According to Jesus Christ, you couldn't
go to Hell even if you tried, unless he was a LIAR! BACs who think they can
lose ETERNAL life are calling God a LIAR.
Numbers 23:19 "God is not
a man, that he should LIE; neither the son of man, that he should REPENT: hath
he said, and shall he not DO IT? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it
GOOD?"
When God says something, you can
bet your life on it. Any man taking MAN'S word over God's is a FOOL. THREE DOWN
AND FIVE TO GO.
THE BODY AND THE SOUL ARE THE SAME
This has been covered above thoroughly
under the false doctrine of Soul Sleep. Therefore, we won't spend much time
on it here.
Matthew 10:28 "And fear not
them which KILL THE BODY, but ARE NOT ABLE TO KILL THE SOUL: but rather fear
him which is able to destroy both soul and body in HELL."
Why would Jesus Christ say that man
can kill your BODY, but not your SOUL if they are the same! Because they ARE
NOT the same! Every man goes three different places after death. The spirit
returns to God who gave it (Ecc 12:7), the body returns to the dust from whence
it came (Ecc 12:7) and the soul goes to heaven or hell (Luke 16). Your soul
is IMMORTAL, but the body isn't, according to JESUS CHRIST! Never mind what
your deluded GREEK PROFESSOR taught you. Let's deal with the FACTS! The scriptures
are very CLEAR. You know it and I know it! FOUR DOWN AND FOUR TO GO!
THE SABBATH IS TO BE OBSERVED BY
CHRISTIANS
The Adventists claim the JEWISH Sabbath
as their day of worship because (although not admitted) they think they're JEWS!
This is nonsense! Nowhere in the AV 1611 was a BAC commanded to keep the Sabbath.
Exodus 31:16 "Wherefore the
children of ISRAEL shall keep the SABBATH, to observe the Sabbath throughout
THEIR generations, for a PERPETUAL COVENANT."
God said that the Sabbath day is
to be kept by the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL AS A PERPETUAL COVENANT! The Sabbath is
therefore an EVERLASTING covenant between God and ISRAEL--not the CHURCH.
Ezekiel 20:13, 20 "HOUSE
OF ISRAEL...I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments,
and do them; And hallow my SABBATHS; and they shall be A SIGN BETWEEN ME AND
YOU, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God."
The Sabbath is called a SIGN! Well,
who are the signs for? Who is it that REQUIRES A SIGN? The Gentiles? NO! The
Church? NO!
1 Corinthians 1:22 "For the
JEWS REQUIRE A SIGN, and the Greeks seek after wisdom"
The Jews require a SIGN because their
nation began with SIGNS (Ex 4). See my pamphlet, The Charismatic Farce for further
details. When the apostle Paul makes a mention of the ten commandments in the
New Testament (NT), he purposely OMITS the Sabbath (Rom 13:8-10)! Why? Because
it is not for the Church to observe. It's for the Jews exclusively!
Nehemiah 9:14 "And madest
known unto them thy holy Sabbath, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and
laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant"
The Sabbath was first made known
to Israel by Moses in 1500 B. C.! This explains why nobody observed it in the
book of Genesis (2000 years of history)! IT WAS NOT GIVEN TO GENTILES AT ANYTIME.
The teaching of TWO laws (God's and Moses') is also ridiculous. There is no
such as the MORAL LAW found in the Book. The word MORAL is found nowhere in
the AV 1611! The Adventists believe that the "moral law" is the TEN
COMMANDMENTS and that the "ceremonial law" is the LAW OF MOSES. To
the contrary, the Bible speaks of the law as a "WHOLE."
James 2:10 "For whosoever
shall keep the WHOLE LAW, and yet offend in ONE point, he is guilty of ALL."
Gal 3:10 "For as many as
are of the WORKS of the law are UNDER THE CURSE: for it is written, CURSED is
everyone that continueth not in ALL THINGS which are written in the law to DO
THEM."
Those under the law were responsible
for obeying "all things" written in the law (2,713 commandments)--not
just TEN as taught by 7th Day Adventists and others who can't read! The Bible
makes it clear that the Christian is not under the law!!
Rom 3:19 "Now WE KNOW that
what things soever the law saith, it saith to THEM who are UNDER THE LAW: that
every mouth may be stopped, and all the WORLD may become guilty before God.
Therefore by the DEEDS of the law there shall NO FLESH be justified in HIS SIGHT:
for the law is the knowledge of sin."
Clearly, the law is for an UNSAVED
man. The law came by Moses (John 1:16) and was given to ISRAEL (Ex 19, 20)--not
the Gentiles, and certainly not the CHURCH OF GOD.
Romans 6:14 "For sin shall
not have dominion over YOU: for YE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW, but under GRACE."
Notice that in the following passages,
the so-called "moral" and "ceremonial" laws are CONGLOMERATED.
Nobody has the right to SEPARATE what God has joined together (Mt 19:6)!
Leviticus 19:5-9, 11-12 "And
if ye offer a SACRIFICE of peace offerings unto the LORD, ye shall offer it
at your own will. It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow:
and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire. And
if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted.
Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath
profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off from
among his people. And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not
wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings
of thy harvest. YE SHALL NOT STEAL, neither deal falsely, neither LIE one to
another. And ye shall not SWEAR by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane
the name of thy God: I am the LORD."
Leviticus 19:17-20 "Thou
shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy
neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any
grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt LOVE THY NEIGHBOR
AS THYSELF: I am the LORD. YE SHALL KEEP MY STATUTES. Thou shalt not let thy
cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled
seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee. And
whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband,
and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they
shall not be put to death, because she was not free."
Leviticus 19:22-23, 30 "And
the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the TRESPASS OFFERING
before the LORD for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done
shall be forgiven him. And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have
planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof
as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall
not be eaten of. Ye shall KEEP MY SABBATHS, and reverence my sanctuary: I am
the LORD."
The reason that only 10 commandments
were given at Sinai was because the Jews didn't want to receive the other 2,703
directly from GOD!
Exodus 20:18-19 "And all
the people saw the THUNDERINGS, and the LIGHTNINGS, and the noise of the trumpet,
and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood
AFAR OFF. And they said unto Moses, SPEAK THOU WITH US, and we will hear: but
LET NOT GOD SPEAK WITH US, LEST WE DIE."
Deuteronomy 5:23-31 "And
it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for
the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto me, even all the heads
of your tribes, and your elders; And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath
shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the
midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he
liveth. Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us:
if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then WE SHALL DIE. For who
is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking
out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived? Go thou near, and HERE
ALL that the LORD our God shall say: and speak THOU unto us all that the LORD
our God shall speak unto thee; and we will HEAR IT, and DO IT. And the LORD
heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and the LORD said unto
me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken
unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken. O that there were
such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and KEEP ALL MY COMMANDMENTS
always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! Go
say to them, Get you into your tents again. But as for thee, stand thou here
by me, and I will speak unto thee ALL THE COMMANDMENTS (in addition to the ten
that they HEARD), and the STATUTES, and the JUDGMENTS, which thou shalt teach
them, that they may DO THEM in the land which I give them to possess it."
Moses went back up to get the other
2,703 commandments of the law. Thus, there is only ONE LAW--not two! This law
was abolished by the Lord Jesus Christ on Calvary!
2 Corinthians 3:6-17 "Who
also hath made us able ministers of the NEW TESTAMENT; not of the LETTER (the
law), but of the SPIRIT: for the LETTER KILLETH, but the spirit giveth LIFE.
But if the MINISTRATION OF DEATH (the law), written and engraven in STONES (the
10 commandments), WAS GLORIOUS, so that the children of ISRAEL could not stedfastly
behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to
be DONE AWAY: How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
For if the ministration of CONDEMNATION (the law) be glory, much more doth the
ministration of RIGHTEOUSNESS EXCEED IN GLORY. For even that which was made
glorious had no glory in THIS RESPECT, by reason of the glory that EXCELLED.
For if that which IS DONE AWAY (the law) was glorious, much more that which
REMAINETH is glorious. Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness
of speech: And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children
of Israel could not stedfastly look to THE END of that which IS ABOLISHED: But
their minds were BLINDED (Rom 11:25): for until this day remaineth the same
VAIL untaken away in the reading of the OLD TESTAMENT; which vail is DONE AWAY
IN CHRIST. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their
heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken
away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there
is LIBERTY."
Galatians 3:21 "Is the law
then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been A LAW given
which could have GIVEN LIFE, verily RIGHTEOUSNESS SHOULD HAVE BEEN BY THE LAW."
Hebrews 8:6-8 "But now hath
he obtained a MORE EXCELLENT ministry, by how much also HE (Jesus Christ) is
the mediator of a BETTER COVENANT, which was established upon BETTER PROMISES.
For if that first covenant had been FAULTLESS, then should NO PLACE have been
sought for the SECOND. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days
come, saith the Lord, when I will make a NEW COVENANT with the house of ISRAEL
and with the house of Judah."
The OT had FAULTS in it, but the
NT is PERFECT. This is why the OT was ABOLISHED! There's no LIBERTY under the
law, thus, it is called the "ministration of DEATH." As proven above,
the law can SAVE NOBODY! SIX DOWN AND TWO TO GO!
THOSE WHO DO NOT KEEP THE SABBATH
DAY HAVE THE "MARK OF THE BEAST"
This heretical teaching is so ludicrous
that it would take a CRACK POT NUT to believe it! They also believe that the
"mark of beast" was here BEFORE Adam and Eve were created. Leaving
the soap operas for the women, we shall see what the BOOK says about the "MARK
of the beast."
Revelation 13:15-18 "And
he had power to give life unto the image of the BEAST (the Antichrist), that
the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not
worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small
and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a MARK IN THEIR RIGHT HAND,
or in their FOREHEADS: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the
MARK, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let
him that hath understanding count the number of the BEAST: for it is the number
of a MAN; and his number is SIX HUNDRED THREESCORE AND SIX (666)."
The "mark of the beast"
is VISIBLE. The beast is described as a MAN (literally) and a LEOPARD (figuratively).
The leopard is an Asian as well as an INTEGRATED animal. He's yellow-brown (Asian),
with a white belly (European), and black spots (African) all over him! Jeremiah
makes it clear that a leopard has black spots!
Jeremiah 13:23 "Can the ETHIOPIAN
change his SKIN (BLACK), or the LEOPARD HIS SPOTS? then may ye also do good,
that are accustomed to do evil."
He has the feet of a BEAR (Russia)
because he will move like a Communist. He has the mouth of a LION (Great Britain)
because he will speak English. Both of these animals are none for MARKING TREES!
The Antichrist will mark his followers (Rev 13:16), and trees are a figure of
people (Mt 3:10; Mk 8:24; Jude 12; Ps 1:3). And of course trees come in FAMILIES
and have CELLS and ROOTS just as people do!
There is no Sabbath mentioned anywhere
in connection with the "mark of the beast" except in the corrupted
minds and literature of 7th Day Adventists! THAT'S A FACT! Those of us who believe
God's word are no more worried about keeping the Sabbath day than a monkey is
worried about winning the Presidential election! When the Antichrist appears
on this earth--there will be no Christians HERE (2Th 2:7; Rev 3:10; 5:9). As
noted earlier--this teaching is s JOKE! THAT'S SEVEN DOWN AND ONE TO GO!
STRICT DIETARY LAWS
This will be very brief! Since the
Christian IS NOT under the law (as proven above), the dietary laws written in
the law (Lev 11 for example) have NO APPLICATION TO THE CHURCH.
Colossians 2:14-16 "BLOTTING
OUT the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to
us, and took it OUT OF THE WAY, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled
principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them
in it. Let NO MAN therefore judge you in MEAT, or in DRINK, or in respect of
an HOLYDAY, or of the new moon, or of the SABBATH DAYS."
Galatians 4:10-11 "Ye OBSERVE
DAYS, and months, and times, and years. I am AFRAID OF YOU, lest I have bestowed
upon you labour in VAIN."
This pamphlet should convince anyone
who BELIEVES God's word, that the HERETICAL TEACHINGS of the 7th Day Adventists
are anti-biblical when it comes to Christian DOCTRINE! I will close this examination
with the following passage:
1 Timothy 4:1-5 "Now the
Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall DEPART FROM THE
FAITH, giving heed to SEDUCING SPIRITS, AND THE DOCTRINES OF DEVILS; Speaking
LIES in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; FORBIDDING
to marry, and commanding to ABSTAIN FROM MEATS, which God hath created to be
received with THANKSGIVING of them which believe and KNOW THE TRUTH. For EVERY
CREATURE of God is good, and NOTHING to be refused, if it be received with THANKSGIVING:
FOR IT IS SANCTIFIED BY THE WORD OF GOD AND PRAYER."
